Intra-Uterine Insemination involves inserting the prepared sperm sample into the cavity of the uterus, immediately before ovulation. This option is often recommended in short-term unexplained infertility or sexual difficulties before moving on to more complex fertility treatments like IVF.

In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

In IVF treatment, the process of fertilization occurs outside the female body. A woman’s eggs are surgically removed from her ovaries via the egg collection procedure, and fertilized with sperm in a laboratory culture dish. Once fertilized, the embryo is implanted into the woman’s womb.

Genetic Testing

Preimplantation genetic testing allows identification of genetic or chromosomal defects in an embryo before the IVF cycle. This is to ensure that high-quality, chromosomally-normal embryos are selected, which have the best chance of implanting successfully in the uterus and later developing into a healthy baby.

Fertility Preservation

This is gives women reproductive choice which means having children when you want them, rather than when you must have them. Even with a diagnosis of cancer women now have the option of freezing their unfertilized eggs so that these may be fertilized and implanted at a later date.
